I remembered speaking to some people during an architectural review as well as during a "Meet the Experts" Lounge in the just-recently concluded Microsoft TechED Asia 2006 in Malaysia and I made the comment where I said something to this effect:

    Why? I always thought the money is found in the server stuff. No one will pay big bucks for UI, unless you are doing marketing stuff... No?

    People are definitely paying big bucks for UI and design. More and more products will have to differentiate themselves with good design and user experiences. Take a look at thirteen23.com for some better examples of WPF design and development.
